How to make honey water for drinks

Honey water is a natural and healthy sweetener that can give your mocktails a subtle sweetness and complex flavor. It is a great alternative to sugar syrup and can be used in a variety of mocktail recipes. Here is a guide on how to easily make your own honey water and some recipes where you can use it.

Recipe for Honey Water

Ingredients

  • 1 part honey
  • 1 part hot water

Equipment:

  • A container with a lid to store the honey water

Instructions:

  1. Measure the ingredients: Start by measuring out 1 part honey and 1 part hot water. This 1:1 ratio will give you a basic honey syrup, but you can adjust the amount of honey to reach your desired sweetness.

  2. Mix the ingredients: Add the measured honey to a clean container. Pour in the warm water over the honey to help dissolve it faster. Close the container with a lid and shake vigorously until the honey is completely dissolved in the water.

  3. Cool and store: Allow the honey water to cool to room temperature, and then you can store it in the fridge. It keeps well in the fridge for several weeks.
